The successful candidate will manage and support our IT infrastructure, covering server administration, network devices, cloud services, virtualization, and IT service management. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain Windows and Linux servers, ensuring they are patched, secure, and highly available
  • Monitor and troubleshoot LAN/WAN networks, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points
  • Administer core network services such as Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP
  • Manage cloud platforms including Google Workspace and Amazon AWS environments (EC2, S3, VPC)
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain VMware vSphere environments including ESXi hosts, vCenter, and virtual machines
  • Design, configure and support SD-WAN solutions to optimize wide-area network performance and security
  • Implement and enforce network security best practices including VPNs, firewalls, and endpoint protection
  • Oversee backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies
  • Use system and network monitoring tools such as PRTG or SolarWinds to maintain high availability and performance
  • Utilize ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms to manage incident tickets, service requests, and changes promptly and efficiently
  • Document network and virtual infrastructure architecture, configurations, and procedures
  • Collaborate with the IT team to support projects and provide second-level technical support

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Approximately 3 years of hands-on experience in systems and network administration with virtualization exposure
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols, and VPNs
  • Experience with SD-WAN technology and platforms (e.g., Cisco Viptela, VMware VeloCloud, Fortinet)
  • Proficiency in VMware vSphere virtualization technologies including ESXi and vCenter
  • Expertise in Windows Server administration and Active Directory management
  • Knowledge in firewall and VPN configuration for secure networking
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace and Amazon AWS cloud service management
  • Experience working with ServiceNow or comparable IT service management tools
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Google Workspace Administrator, and VMware certifications (VCP or VCTA) are highly desirable
  • Clear communication and excellent documentation
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
